Supporting stroke survivors

My personal contribution as a company supervisor to stroke survivors is to creat awareness and support for those who have survived stroke and for the lovely family members that support them day to day and keep their hearts wide open. The huge adjustments families have to go through after a family member has had a stroke is often overlooked, and the struggles of the survivors often unseen. We hope by campaigning for stroke survivors, we also create understanding and compassion for those that need so much love and support in the hard obstacles they have to overcome.  After the intial shock of a family member having stroke at a young age of 29, family, friends, and work colleagues have grouped together to show that we care. We continue to make a difference by takign part in the Stride4Stroke campaign. It doesn't matter how small your donation is and how much you can afford,  it matters how it makes a difference to the lives of those who are personally experiencing the after affects of stroke. We are gratefull for your thought and time you put aside to contribute, it means a lot.
