Our team is taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation!
Hi there, I'm taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation to help create a future with fewer strokes & I in honour of my brother inlaw Josh who suffered a stroke middle of this year.
Josh has a wife (Sarah) and two little kids under the age of 3 - this experience for them all including the wider family shook us. It’s taken a toll mentally on us all, especially with Josh only being 29 years of age.
He has had to take work off for quite some time and is now awaiting surgery .
We thank God he is still here with us every day and we are so grateful for the support system around us.
In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to have a stroke.
Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, up to 120 babies and 400 children have a stroke in Australia each year.

Our little family (Hubby age 29 stroke survivor) have been impacted by the effects of stroke this month. We have two very young children & the adjustments have been huge for us. We praise God for Joshs safety and good medical care. Honoured to be apart of raising awareness & funds for the Stroke Foundations Stride 4 Stroke in September! Rallying behind Josh as a family to support him on his recovery journey.
