Help me raise money for Stride4Stroke :)
Hi there,
I’m taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for the Stroke Foundation to help create a future with fewer strokes.
Earlier this year, my partner suffered a stroke. We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate that the outcome wasn’t catastrophic, but it has left a lasting impact on our lives. Experiencing first-hand the physical, emotional, and logistical challenges that come after a stroke has opened our eyes to how difficult this journey can be — especially for those who don’t have a strong support network to lean on.
In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia will have a stroke. Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, up to 120 babies and 400 children experience a stroke in Australia each year.
By supporting me, you'll be helping to sustain the vital programs and resources the Stroke Foundation provides, including:
