Team Ty
Ty Hawkins, an absolute champion of a man, tragically passed away in June this year, following an unexpected stroke.
Ty was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. He was a loving family-man to his wife and three children, a coach and mentor for all the kids on his teams over the years, and a loyal and trusted friend to more people than you could possibly count.
Every interaction was always peppered with kindness, inclusion, levity and strength. He was an advocate for many causes and the first to volunteer, whether that be for clubs or fundraisers, such as Movember.
As a way to remember and celebrate his spirit, lets dedicate September to Ty and Stride4Stroke to raise money in his honor so that we can stop top blokes, like Ty, being taken too soon.
