I’m taking on Stride4Stroke this September and raising funds for Stroke Foundation to help create a future with fewer strokes.
Almost 47,000 Australians will have a stroke this year — that’s one every 11 minutes.
This year, every $11 raised represents one stroke expected in Australia. I’m aiming to make as much impact as I can — and I’d love your support.
Your donation will help fund vital programs and services that:
- Prevent stroke through education and awareness
- Support people and families when stroke happens
- Help survivors of stroke recover and rebuild their lives

My Updates
Why I decided to do this.
I joined this fundraiser as my life has been touched by stroke 3 times now. When I was a young girl, my Nanna (Mum's mum) had a stroke and passed away in rehabilitation. 11 years ago, my Grandma (Dad's mum) had a massive stroke and passed away after 11 days and not regaining consciousness. Now, 2 weeks ago, my mother inlaw Stephanie had a massive stroke and is currently still in hospital and about to start her rehabilitation journey so her life is now going to be very different. Seeing a loved one not be able to do anything they used to do is hard and not being able to do anything about it is heartbreaking so raising money for research is something I can do. ❤️So far I have helped Stroke Foundation deliver…
