I’m taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation!

Hi everyone,

This September, I’m taking on **Stride4Stroke** and raising funds for **Stroke Foundation** to help create a future with fewer strokes.

This cause is particularly close to my heart because not many people know that my eldest son, Andy, is a stroke survivor. ❤️

When you think of stroke, you don’t necessarily think of someone young. Many people don’t realise that a stroke can happen at any age, or just how much it can impact someone’s life and the lives of those around them.

We are incredibly lucky that Andy continues to thrive and be his amazing self. His strength and resilience are something we are so incredibly proud of.

Almost **47,000 Australians will have a stroke this year** — that’s one every 11 minutes.

This year, every **$11 raised represents one stroke expected in Australia**. I’m hoping to make as much impact as I can, and I would absolutely love your support.

Your donation will help fund vital programs and services that:

• **Prevent stroke** through education and awareness

• **Support people and families** when stroke happens

• **Help stroke survivors recover and rebuild their lives**

Every dollar truly makes a difference.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be incredibly grateful. ❤️ Your support could help another family navigate the journey that ours has experienced.

Thank you so much for supporting me and helping me take on **Stride4Stroke** this September.

Together, we can help change the story of stroke. ❤️

So far I have helped Stroke Foundation deliver…

Initial advice and support from a health professional on StrokeLine

A stroke recovery pack to three survivors of stroke

Training to a StrokeSafe volunteer to deliver community talks.

Funding to stroke researchers to find the next game-changer in stroke.
