I’m taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation!
Hi,
This September I am taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke to raise funds for the Stroke Foundation, a cause deeply personal to me.
At 23 I lost my mum to a stroke. My life changed overnight and the road to rebuilding has been long. Seven years on I want to do everything I can to stop other families from going through the same pain. Too many people are affected, and far too many are young. Stroke does not discriminate. It can happen to anyone, anytime.
Every 11 minutes someone in Australia has a stroke. It takes more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. Even babies and children are affected.
By donating today you will help the Stroke Foundation prevent strokes, save lives and support survivors in their recovery. Programs include StrokeSafe community talks, blood pressure checks, FAST signs of stroke awareness, and resources like StrokeLine and My Stroke Journey.
