Our team is taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation!

Hi there, we are taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation to help create a future with fewer strokes.

In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to have a stroke.

We are walking for our dad, Warren Wheatley, who has survived two strokes thanks to the incredible efforts from a variety of people, including the Stroke Foundation, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Ambulance Victoria's Stroke Units. Without them, our lives would be incredibly different today and Warren's grandchildren would only know him through photos and stories. This is obviously a Foundation close to our hearts and we see the lasting work they do each and every day. 

Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, up to 120 babies and 400 children have a stroke in Australia each year.
