Baby Strides

Hi friends, family and sponsors, I've made a slow start to Stride for Srroke, as I pulled a back muscle last Thursday and it's only just healing now. At least the spasms have stopped. Yesterday I did a walk around the block followed by a stint on our treadmill. Today I did some yoga/Pilates exercises specifically designed for core strength and back care. We then went to Jells Park to meet up with a couple of old friends. I did more talking than walking, but nevertheless some striding across the grass to find a picnic spot proved energising. Onwards and upwards!

Today being a rainy day I had the luxury of using a treadmill to do my steps and got to listen to an old LP at the same time. Who remembers Boz Scaggs' 'Silk Degrees'? Some really great songs - especially love 'Harbour Lights'.Thank you to my Sponsors
