In memory of my mum, raising funds for Stroke Foundation!
Hi there,
In October 2022, my mum had a stroke. She lost the use of her left side, we rushed her to hospital with the hope that was as bad as it would get. Circumstances meant that later that night she suffered a catastrophic brain bleed requiring surgery. Mum was in ICU on life support with no improvements and on the 5th days we had to say goodbye and face a future without her. To say that day was the hardest day of my life is an understatement. I wish that experience on no one. I do this in the hope no one else suffers a loss like this.. please support me.
I’m taking on Stride4Stroke this September and raising funds for Stroke Foundation to help create a future with fewer strokes.
