Hi everyone,

As some of you know, I experienced another stroke in October 2023 that left me with right-sided weakness and unable to walk.

There were many difficult days, but with determination, hard work, and the incredible support of my healthcare team, I gradually learned to walk again. Every step was a victory, and every milestone reminded me not to take anything for granted.

Recovery from stroke can be a lifelong journey, and I am incredibly grateful for the love and support of my family, friends and community who have been with me every step of the way.

This September, I'm taking on Stride4Stroke to give back and help create a future with fewer strokes.

Almost 47,000 Australians will have a stroke this year. That's one stroke every 11 minutes. Every $11 raised represents one stroke expected in Australia, and I'm hoping to make as much impact as possible.
