The Little Stroke Warriors team is taking on Stride4Stroke to raise funds to support survivors of childhood stroke and their families.
Stroke can happen to anyone, at any time, even babies who haven't been born yet. Each year in Australia, up to 120 babies and 400 children have a stroke.
So many families have told us how alone they felt after their child's stroke, with nowhere to turn for help or information. That's what this money goes towards fixing. Every dollar our team raises goes straight to Stroke Foundation, to:
- Build resources families actually need, like podcasts, videos, guides and planning tools for life after a childhood stroke.
- Get information to healthcare workers and the wider community, so kids get diagnosed and treated faster, with better outcomes.
