I’m taking on Stride4Stroke to raise funds for the Stroke Foundation.
Every 11 minutes, someone in Australia has a stroke. I know the impact — I’ve had two strokes, including a major one in 2014. My brain injury still affects me daily, but I’m grateful for how far I’ve come and determined to keep giving back.
This is the first time I’ve raised money for stroke, after years of volunteering to support other survivors. Any donation, big or small, will help fund lifesaving research, prevention programs, and recovery support.

Striding for Stroke – Update!
I’ve been walking lots this month to support the Stroke Foundation, and I’m proud to say I’m still going strong! I decided to walk rather than run this year — it’s a better fit for me, and every step still counts toward helping stroke survivors and raising awareness.
My goal is to finish by 29 October, and I’m getting closer each day.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already donated and cheered me on. Your support truly keeps me moving — even on the days when my legs (and brain!) feel tired.
I haven’t been amazing at posting updates, but every step I take is for this incredible cause. ?
