I’m a stroke survivor and I'm taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation!
Hi there,
I’m taking on Stride4Stroke this September and raising funds for Stroke Foundation to help create a future with fewer strokes.
As I stroke survivor I want to do what I can to prevent other people going through this debilitating condition.
I planned to do 30 minutes of exercise every second day as I need a rest day.
Almost 47,000 Australians will have a stroke this year — that’s one every 11 minutes.
This year, every $11 raised represents one stroke expected in Australia. I’m aiming to make as much impact as I can — and I’d love your support.
Your donation will help fund vital programs and services that:
- Prevent stroke through education and awareness
- Support people and families when stroke happens
- Help survivors of stroke recover and rebuild their lives
Every dollar truly makes a difference.
Thank you so much for supporting me — together, we can help change the story of stroke.
My Updates
Day 1
Day 1 the start of spring and my stride 4 stroke journey. I decided to do around 30 minutes of chair yoga and balance work. In the afternoon my best friend and I took our 2 dogs out for a walk to the fenced dog park. While doing my minutes I felt energised but, now my body is shutting down for the day 😊So far I have helped Stroke Foundation deliver…
Initial advice and support from a health professional on StrokeLine
A stroke recovery pack to three survivors of stroke
Training to a StrokeSafe volunteer to deliver community talks.
Funding to stroke researchers to find the next game-changer in stroke.

Every step is a victory! You got this!
