I’m taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation!

Hi there,

I’m taking on Stride4Stroke this September and raising funds for Stroke Foundation to help create a future with fewer strokes.

Almost 47,000 Australians will have a stroke this year — that’s one every 11 minutes.

This year, every $11 raised represents one stroke expected in Australia. I’m aiming to make as much impact as I can — and I’d love your support.

Your donation will help fund vital programs and services that:

  • Prevent stroke through education and awareness
  • Support people and families when stroke happens
  • Help survivors of stroke recover and rebuild their lives

Every dollar truly makes a difference.

Thank you so much for supporting me — together, we can help change the story of stroke.

Ready to take on Stride4Stroke

All in a day- The morning of June 21st 2022 was a normal day was feeling fine got my nails done enjoyed a walk then drove off to work it was then as I was driving up work hill Bang! my head snapped felt like someone had hit me over the head worst feeling ever andi went hot and red!. Was taken to hospital and told I had a Stroke. Know the signs as your life could change in a blink of an eye!! Grateful for everyday 🙏 Been a journey! My weight played a big part in my stroke! Was 150kg dropped to 57kg now 80kg feeling good 👍 STROKE AWARENESS🙏✨️ BLESSED TO STILL BE HERE 🙏 I’m taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation! I suffered a stroke June 21st 2022 whilst driving Scariest day of my life felt like someone hitting me in the head with a baseball bat and felt like I was in a really hot sauna my whole body went red and hot. Somehow managed to park car as was closed to my work, my boss drove me to Shoalhaven hospital test done then Helicopter to Sydney for 10 days not knowing really what was going on. Grateful for everyone who was theyre that day and got me to hospital and to all the hospital staff who ran scans and did the surgery I needed to survive, has changed my life so much. Blessed to still be here. Was told a third of people make a fully recovery a third left with some damage and a third dont make it! With the type of Stroke I had, Still get headaches and dizziness but on medication and managing it. Good days Bad days Im alive thats all that matters Life's short! Cherish every second ✨️ In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to have a stroke. Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, up to 120 babies and 400 children have a stroke in Australia each year.
