This November, I’m taking part in Stroke Foundation’s Stride4Stroke to help prevent, treat and beat stroke!

Isaiah 57:1-2 The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from calamity. he enters into peace; they rest in their beds who walk in their uprightness.

From the eyes of our peers, we are all immortal. We live out lives on the edge and over the limit, like our parents did and generations before. It is our unequivocal right to prosper and seek out our full potential of our spectacular  yet fleeting youth. However, for a brief movement, life puts us in check and reminds us of our mortality on this earth, with the realisation of fear. Fear is not something that we encounter, let alone acknowledge on a daily basis. I’ve unfortunately encountered this fear twice this year with the unexpected  passing of two friends due too the effects of brain complications. This November I will be combining both the Movember charity with the stroke foundation, I pledge to run 150km over the month of November. 5km each day. For every day I miss I will donate $20 to the stroke foundation. I encourage everyone to donate to either the Movember Charity or the stroke foundation this month, or join me on my challenge.
