We are a team of health professionals who work every day on the frontlines of stroke care. We see firsthand the life-changing impact stroke has — not only on individuals, but on families, friends, and our community.
In Australia, a stroke occurs every 11 minutes, and stroke remains a leading cause of disability and mortality. Yet up to 80% of strokes are preventable. Behind each statistic is a person whose independence, livelihood, and connections have been altered in an instant.
That’s why we’re raising funds to help create a future with fewer strokes — through prevention, awareness, and better care for those affected. Together, we can change these numbers and save lives.
