I’m taking part in Stride4Stroke to help prevent, treat and beat stroke!

Stroke is one of Australia’s biggest killers and a leading cause of disability.

In Australia currently, 12% of people say they won’t have exercised this week. One million strokes a year globally are linked to physical inactivity. One of the things we can do to reduce our risk of stroke, or secondary stroke, is to keep active.

So this November I’m taking part in Stride4Stroke to raise vital funds and awareness for Stroke Foundation.

Stroke Foundation is committed to raising community awareness about stroke and stroke prevention, advocating for increased access to specialised stroke treatment and rehabilitation care, and supporting research into innovative treatments for the benefit of all Australians.

Please join me in my fight against stroke today by donating and helping share my story.

Thank you in advance.

My Updates

So much thanks

Thank you thank you thank you xx
I am so appreciative of everyone’s generous donations and kindness in contributing to this important cause. It’s so important to my dad and of course to our family and I am honoured and grateful to be able to raise more awareness and education around stroke , and most importantly be able to contribute to preventing and reducing stroke and it’s impacts on someone else’s life.

Thank you xx

Thank you so much for giving to this cause which is so important and close to my dad and our family. Dad’s recovery from his stroke was and has been remarkable , surprising and impressing his medical healthcare team . This happened almost 20yrs ago but the effects of stroke can and do impact those who experience one and their families, irrevocably.  Dad’s recent diagnosis of brain cancer is once again placing his brain and body into a life challenge of ultimate extremes and that still includes his effects from his stroke almost 20yrs ago. He will be thrilled , as am I , that you are contributing to stride4stroke to help educate about and prevent stroke, the effects and impacts of stroke and increasing awareness throughout our communities x

So far I have helped Stroke Foundation deliver…

Advice and support from a health professional on StrokeLine

Stroke recovery packs to 3 survivors of stroke.

Training to a StrokeSafe volunteer to deliver community talks.

Funding to stroke researchers to find the next game-changer in stroke.

Thank you to my Sponsors
