Our team is taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation in honour of Lola Call :)
Hi there, my name is Tyler Cossor.Ā Recently my Nan, Lola, unfortunately passed away due to an unexpected stroke. My family and I thought we would have so much more time with her and we will miss her so much. She was so loved by everyone around her and I really want to raise awareness regarding strokes.Ā Me and my friends (Charlie Heise, Amelia Devine, Grace Cameron, Hayley Douglass, Maya Ward, Georgia Grassi, Keira Johnson & Charlotte McSwan) are taking on Stride4Stroke toĀ raise funds for Stroke Foundation in order to help prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery.
Did you know stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and there is one stroke every 19 minutes, even though more than 80% of strokes can be prevented?Ā
Stroke doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime, even unborn babies. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men.Ā Even more distressing, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.
Your support can make a significant difference, and I kindly ask you to help me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation. It only takes a minute, and any amount you can give, no matter how large or small, will go a long way in supporting Stroke Foundation's vision of aĀ world free from disability and suffering caused by stroke.

I knew your Nan Tyler, through sewing classes. We sat next to each other on Saturday mornings. I moved to Bendigo, Victoria mid 2021. I did catch up with her in August thankfully, when I was up on the coast. She was a true legend, always up for a joke and a bit of fun. I will miss her greatly as I’m sure you all are. She was very proud of all her family and often told me stories about you all. She would be so proud of what you are doing in her honour. Take care, have fun and keep going!
