Brave Hearts

We're taking on the challenge for our brave mamabear, Marina.

Hi EVERYONE! We're taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation to help prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery.

In late April 2023, our lives took a turn when our mother suffered a haemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in the brain) which has now affected her ability to do things for herself daily, walk and has also affected her speech and memory. She only just retired in the beginning of this year as a nurse and since her stroke, she has been reliant on her daughter as her full time carer, a wheelchair and a hoist for transfer. It has been a crazy journey for our family but we are most grateful for the Stroke Foundation for the help and information given so we are able to understand her condition and help her during recovery. We are raising funds to help spread awareness and also to give everyone who may have suffered a stroke the help that they need especially during recovery. Serving others and helping people everywhere has always been our mother's legacy. We are participating in this challenge on her behalf & in her honour. 

All proceeds will go directly to the STROKE FOUNDATION to help others like our dearest ma.
